Day 1: LIMA - CUSCO (Meals not included) 

CITY TOUR IN CUSCO AND VISIT TO THE NEARBY RUINS

Upon arrival in Cusco you will be transferred to your selected hotel. Time to acclimatize and enjoy a light lunch before to start your excursion (lunch on your own). In the afternoon, you will start a guided visit to the four ruins surrounding Cusco, the Sacsayhuaman Fortress; Kenko, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay. In addition, Main Square, the Cathedral and the Koricancha Sun Temple visits are included in the tour. The rest of the evening is personal time to explore Cusco which offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars, discos and others.

Day 2: CUSCO - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO (Breakfast and Lunch) 

FULL DAY EXCURSION TO MACHU PICCHU

After breakfast, take the Expedition train for our memorable trip to Machu Picchu. This 3 ½ hour train ride takes us to the active market town in Aguas Calientes from where we catch the bus up to the extraordinary Machu Picchu ruins.
A tour with an English speaking guide of this fabulous “lost city of the Incas” rediscovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911. With houses and temples surrounded by terraces cut into the mountain side.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Return to the hotel in the afternoon

Day 3: CUSCO - LIMA (Breakfast) 

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the return flight to Lima. Arrival in Lima´s airport for your connecting flight back home.
      
Air tickets: Lima - Cusco - Lima to be quoted on the day of enquiry US$ 320 aprox. Per person depending on the season and the airline.
